Safely producing clean energy has been our mission since the very beginning. Now, with a growing need to meet climate challenges, the winds of change power us more than ever.
The SG 14-222 DD is the next step towards this goal. With an unprecedented 14 megawatts of capacity, and up to 15 megawatts with Power Boost, our flagship turbine delivers sustainable renewable energy for offshore customers all over the globe. We believe that, together, we can seize the opportunity to meet climate change head-on and work for a better future.

Siemens Gamesa’s Onshore business has installed over 90 GW of wind energy capacity, diversified across 76 countries. The company has a long and successful track record of installing wind farms spanning over 40 years, which coupled with pioneering technology in a broad portfolio, provides the best technological solutions for each project.
Spearheading Onshore technology is the Siemens Gamesa 5.X platform. The platform is set to become a global benchmark, and its versatility with a modular and flexible design, mean it will be embraced in many countries and geographies.
The Onshore business has also added the last piece to a trio for the Siemens Gamesa 4.X platform. The new SG 4.7-155 turbine provides a solution for low wind sites particularly found in Southern Europe, but also globally. The latest innovation stands out for combining the proven technology of the Siemens Gamesa 4.X platform, with the larger rotor and cutting-edge blades from the Siemens Gamesa 5.X.
Siemens Gamesa technology is helping our partners in a shared vision to provide a sustainable future.

The Siemens Gamesa Digital Ventures Lab (DVL) builds a bridge from physical assets to digital solutions by combining domain knowledge in the industry with new technologies.
Furthermore, DVL strengthen collaboration with third party stakeholders from universities, research centers, startups, industrial and technological companies. With Digital Open Innovation we enable ourselves to look beyond existing challenges and solutions, increasing the likelihood of faster and innovative product development.Shape the energy transition with the ETES technology and guarantee a stable and reliable energy supply from renewables. By adding high-temperature thermal energy storage in the GWh-scale, fossil-fired generation facilities can be converted into emission-free storage plants, allowing them to continue their operation in the next decades, while reusing 70% of the existing equipment.
The versatility of the ETES technology also allows for the decarbonization of industrial processes, making it applicable in multiple sectors. Charged by excess renewable power and waste heat, ETES can supply large amounts of heat whenever it is needed and thus decouple energy demand and supply.
